Meet the proud new owners of the Nelson Totalspan Franchise – Andrew and Diane Crompton. Andrew and Diane have relocated from the sunny Hawkes Bay and are eager to begin their new chapter running the show at Totalspan Nelson. Andrew comes from a vast Engineering background, where he spent the last 14 years in an operational role in the heavy fabrication industry, which focussed primarily on the steel bridge market, both nationally and internationally. Diane comes from an extensive fine art background and has an exceptional eye for all things colour and design. Andrew and Diane’s daughter Nicola has also joined them in the business and will be leading all accounting and marketing roles for the franchise.

How can we help you?
- We are locally owned and operated…you deal with the owners all the time! We are looking to expand on an already successful and well-established business in the Nelson Tasman area.
- We care for our clients and staff health and well-being through ensuring we have a robust health and safety system in place, backed by our partnership with Hazardco.
- We provide a no obligation free visit to inspect your site and design a building to suit your site and requirements and will work with you to create a building design which is personalised specifically to you, ensuring your needs are effectively met.
- We offer you a full solution from concept to completion. We prepare the council consent information and will arrange the final Code of Compliance, taking the hassle that can be experienced when working with local authorities.
- All our buildings are NZ designed and engineered with material being provided through the New Zealand Steel Mill. All our building components are manufactured in our Christchurch factory and are subject to stringent quality control procedures, ensuring confidence on all Totalspan products.
- On completion of every project, we supply a 25-year structural warranty on all structural components, and if we construct the building, we will also provide a 5-year workmanship warranty.
- We locally support and participate in the Undercover Kids Programme supplying Bus Shelters to our rural communities to keep our children safe.
